Chicago United to compete in local leagues
In an effort to support local (Chicago area) cricketer and transform the game of cricket locally, Chicago United will be participating in Chicago area’s local leagues; specifically BPL and MwCC. Chicago United’s recruiting will be focused primarily on player’s attitude and chemistry. Skills would play a minor role. The two major ingredients (attitude and chemistry) of success that has elevated Chicago United to USA’s national and global map will continue to play a pivotal role. An organizational model that many other local clubs plan to replicate in the upcoming 2015 season.
Chicago United trains it’s cricketers to be strong athletes first with Discipline, Fitness, Attitude and Goals. Most players who have represented Chicago United have seen significant improvements in their cricketing skills and have softly taken this ongoing training to other players and teams.
