Chicago United – BEST TEAM of 2016

Chicago United (CU) had a fabulous 2016 season. Several new individual records and team records were set thru the season. Most recently, USACA (USA Cricket Association) – CER acknowledged CU as ‘BEST FRANCHISE TEAM of 2016’.

Chicago United’s exemplary efforts in the field and outside has contributed to the development of the game in the region. Many players and clubs have developed better cricketing skills and team management strategies from Chicago United. Several cricket clubs continue to follow Chicago United’s efforts to “Play better cricket – TOGETHER”, a simple philosophy to uplift cricket in the USA. In 2016, they have been most recognized for their vision, professionalism and accomplishments (four finals and two championships) as a team and several individual records.

In this age of rapid development of cricket in USA, Chicago United’s captain Sami Khan asked cricket clubs, leagues, and cricketing leaders in the region to unify, play better quality cricket, develop better infrastructure and support players to produce international cricketers in the years ahead.

Chicago United wishes all the cricket organizations in the region and across the USA a safe, joyful and productive upcoming 2017 season.
