2015 league squad announced

Chicago United (CU) wrapped up its winter and preseason indoor practice and training sessions. About thirty five cricketers participated in this program. Cricketers from various age groups (including U-13) made this program a grand success. “I have improved my cricket more with CU within 1 month than I have playing hard ball cricket in past 8 years” said Shahmeer Khaliqdina, a local – young and dynamic all-rounder. He will be debuting for CU this season.

During the off season, CU hosted an ‘Open to All’ AGM (Annual General Meeting) over a casual breakfast. In addition, recently, hosted another exclusive ‘high -breakfast’ meeting for its members to discuss the upcoming 2015 season. Finally here it is!

CU’s roster has a good diversity in terms of skills and age. Indeed, a very well balanced team that is roaring to debut in MwCC and BPL this season. In a statement, captain Mohammed Sami Khan mentioned “I’m very excited to lead a group of very talented cricketers who have worked hard, off season and wish them the best of cricket season”. Sami is the most experienced cricketer in Chicago area and a very strategic captain. Hence, has been chosen to lead the team.
