SACHIN, NEIL and VENKY COMPETED IN INTER-LEAGUE

A multi state and league T20 tourney was hosted by Illinois’s CASO cricket league . Leagues from neighboring states Minnesota, (Strykers) Missouri (St Louis Americans) and Michigan (Cricket Michigan) competed . This inter league tourney was a weekend event and attracted some former first class and international players . Chicago United’s Neil Shah, Sachin Veerasammy and Venkatesh Naidu represented CASO XI. In two matches, Sachin contributed (44 in 41 n.o. and 5 wkts for 18). The finals was an exciting last over contest between CASO XI and STL Americans. CASO XI won the finals. Randy Brown was ‘Man of the Match’ . A good outing for all the players and a great start for inter league competition in the area
