MURTAZA VOHRA IN CU SQUAD

With its vision to develop cricketers and to play better cricket – TOGETHER, Chicago United (CU) continues to include first class players to its squad. Baroda, India’s first class pacer Murtaza Vohra joined CU for this season. He has played with and against most of India’s top notch players at various premier competitions. To his credentials, he shared the new ball with Munaf Patel, Irfan Pathan etc .
In his debut ball against Incredibles, he uprooted the wicket of the strike batsmen and continued to trouble other batsmen in his very 1st over.
In a warm welcome gesture to Chicago United, Murtaza was inducted with CU’s traditional ‘red cap ceremony’. He was presented a classic CU red cap and player number # 25. Inclusions of such experienced players offers new learnings for Chicago United, local players and excitement to the leagues.
