Chicago United hosted the 40 overs game in Washington Park against Milwaukee CC.

Chicago United won the toss and decided to bat first. Yaseen and Safdar opened the innings for CU and gave a steady start until the 19th over when Yaseen caught himself outside of the crease on a well driven shot from Safdar, which got deflected by bowlers hand into the wickets. Yaseen scored 42 runs in 64 balls and CU were 89/1 until the 21st over when Safdar got caught scoring 36 runs. Kashan got out early as well but then skipper Sami and Sameer had a 79 runs partnership taking CU to 170 runs in 33 overs. Sami showed some outstanding shots and scored 55 runs in just 33 balls. CU kept loosing wickets in regular intervals after that and managed to set a target of 211 in 40 overs.

Milwaukee CC opened the batting and lost two quick wickets in the 2nd over by Sikandar with 11 runs on the scoreboard. Avinash and Asif had a steady partnership of 74 runs in which Avinash was dropped 3 times until he got run out by Yaseen in the 16th over. Asif stood his ground scoring 57 runs, however there was nobody on the other end to support him as Milwaukee CC kept loosing wickets and eventually they all got out for 180 runs in 36 overs. JJ led with taking 3 wickets and Sami, Sikandar and Yaseen each took 2 wickets. At the end it was a good game in a good weather. CU could have closed the games sooner if they would have held on to their catches.

Man of the match for this game should be the skipper Sami who scored 55 runs and took 2 crucial wickets.
