Mountain Dew Cup 2016 Champions: Chicago United – Men in Red!

This year the season got a ‘kick start’ with BPL’s Mountain Dew Cup. It was interesting to see most players and teams charged up and ready to take on the 2016 season seriously. Coming out to the cricket fields after a long winter, the competition was surprisingly fierce.

On a Cold – windy night (48 F), the finals – team Chicago United defeated Deccan Mavericks by 13 runs. CU’s Ahmed Askari, tilted the match with his commendable bowling; crowning him the ‘Man of the Match’.

Abhijit Joshi’s consistency with the bat and ball earned him the ‘Man of the Series’
