YASEEN (171*) and SAMI (110) DEMOLISH B’BROOK CC

It was another beautiful Sunday as CU squared off against a veteran bbcc team. There was a lot of excitement before the game . CU players started of with there routine warmup hour before the game CU won the toss and elected to bat first against the BBCC team .
Sami and Ahmed opened for CU and they lost Ahmed in the early overs followed by ayyub Patel (runout) and Ruan (bowled). The loss of quick wickets put CU in a hole then Yaseen stepped in to join the skipper. Skipper and Yaseen played there best game and exhibited there talent against the  BBcc squad . They had a partnership of 225 runs with Yaseen scoring 171 runs not out off 73 balls and skipper scoring 110 runs off 70. CU scored 336 runs in 30 overs. Indeed, an unusually high score.
Tariq khan and zulfiqar Ahmed (zulfi) opened for bbcc chasing an unusually high target they came out hard in the beginning hitting a few boundaries. Sami got the 2 openers out and then Asad and Yaseen (off Bolingbrook) batted aggressively and established a 100 runs partnership Ahmed took over the bowling and he got 3 crucial wickets and then Ruan also followed with a 3 wicket haul and finally bbcc was restricted to 218 runs all out
